What is leather?

Leather is an intrinsic material of meat consumption, which is the main source of protein for more than 90% of the world’s population.

The leather industry recovers and recycles this byproduct from the food sector to prevent it from becoming waste and revalues it into elegant, noble, and useful products for society. The leather sector is a key player in the circular economy.
